About Me
My life experiences brought me through gateways that lead me back towards grace and dignity. It was a long and hard journey, however, it seemed to be the path I needed to take in order to awaken. It was around the time I was writing Truth To Triumph, that I truly knew my ‘who’ and my ‘why’. So, I immersed myself in writing a book that would be so transparent and raw. I felt this truth was the only way to bring you into my heart then and now. I know who I am, my vision is clear, and I am master of my life! But it wasn’t always that way….
I grew up in a domestically violent home, and used ballet class as my sanctuary. Performing and producing was my dream since childhood. Later, I went on as a professional dancer and landed interesting gigs as a dance contestant on Ed McMahon’s Star Search, and a Showgirl/Dancer on Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Circus. From there, I continued onto a promising acting career and won various Off Broadway roles and a day player role on ABC’s One Life to Live.
Suddenly, I took a 180 pivot onto what I call the path left of center. Although I thought I put my past behind me, the imprints it left on me resurfaced in my adult years. At the age of 32, I began a fifteen-year nightmare with two back-to-back destructive marriages, living behind a veil of silence as a battered wife.
I became another statistic, enduring cervical vertebrae damages, black eye, concussion, broken collar bone, lock jaw, strangulations, and urinating down the sides of my legs. The loss of my dignity and self-worth matched that of when I was a little girl growing up. One day when I was 47 I looked outside of myself, as if I were watching a movie, and thought, “Omg, how did I get here?!” I ran for my life and I knew I had to rewrite it.
Today, I can attest to the lie of family imprints. I know the apple does fall far from the tree for those who see that they are so much more than just an apple. If your mind is powerful enough to manifest harm, then it is certainly powerful enough to manifest harmony.
My mission is to build global services for young adults that prioritize well-being, opportunities for healing, and teach fundamental ways to manifest the life you came here to live. I believe that dignity is your birthright, and you are here for a purpose.
I teach youth and young adults how to identify the disguises behind domestic violence and how to create healthy relationships so that they do not become a statistic. Building a culture of self-love, dignity, and worth is your powerful gateway to an amazing adult-life. And from that point you can manifest your biggest dreams. No matter what your situation, you can go beyond it. You have the innate ability to choose the creations you wish to experience.
“I believe that what we cognize we become, and how much we feel, how deep we imagine, and how specific our desire is completely responsible for making a dream reality.”
